To promote breastfeeding I have nursed in public, and I am planning on attending the great nurse in on Saturday morning. I also love talking with friends about my struggles and success I have had while breastfeeding. BF and pumped for 9 mos with my first DD. Our new addition is 1 month and EBF this whole time!!! Woohoo!!! I love it!!
I promote BFing every single time I go out!
I have a two month old who loves to nurse. I didn’t have any luck BFing my first, but I am totally enjoying the wonderful bonding experience I’m having with DS #2!

I talk about nursing every chance I get! I read everything I could get my hands on when I was having troubles & now pass books and information to my friends/family. I was the only one who nursed her babies & convinced my cousin to nurse her daughter–yay!! I nurse my 1 year old son in public without a cover on. I post tons of stuff on my facebook wall about the benefits of nursing. I shared the value of using donor breastmilk over formula on a few forums I frequent. And tomorrow I’m attending the Big Latch On to breastfeed my squirmy little boy. I’m so excited!

I talk about breastfeeding to anyone who will listen! I nurse my 15 month old in public without a cover whenever he wants to nurse. Most people who see me are supportive, but if not I use the experience to educate them on the benefits of breastfeeding. I am the only one out of my friends who has been successful at bf. My best friend is pregnant now and said she didn’t think she was going to try to bf because so many of our friends had failed. I told her even a few days was better than nothing and that I’d be right there to help and support her. For her shower I made a nursing gift basket with nursing pads, lansinoh, milk storage bags, a nursing night gown, The Nursing Mother’s Companion, water bottle and snacks. I believe every woman can breastfeed if she has the right support system. All of you ladies are awesome, keep up the good work!!!
To promote breastfeeding week I’ve wrote about my experience breastfeeding my son for these past 2 1/2 months. I’m relatively new to breastfeeding. I did breastfeed my 9 yr old DD for a month but when I returned to work (Worked with chemicals) I had to quit.
This time I’m not working with dangerous chemicals so I get to EBF. We’ve nursed in public several times and normally don’t have a problem. I’d really appreciate getting supplies!
Thanks and its so kind of you to do a giveaway. I’ll follow you and would appreciate if you’d follow my blog too.
I am promoting breastfeeding this week by multiple fb postings and notes regarding the benefits of breastfeeding, I attended the Big Latch On event in my area with the support of my husband, I attended the WIC sponsored event at local farmers market, and just recently was able to help a friend who wanted to give breastfeeding another go. I have been nursing in public also, which was a big step for me! *liked your page* *followed on twitter*
I BF my 9-month-old and attend La Leche League meetings because my little sister is my BF hero!
My little sister had a rough start: her baby was fed formula against her will in the hospital. At home, he had a very hard time latching on. They stuck with it, and now have a wonderful BF relationship. She even donated her excess milk the first year.
I went to La Leche League meetings and took notes for her during her pregnancy, because she had to work. So when I had my own baby, I was already attending LLL meetings, informing other new moms about LLL, and managed to stick to it though my own extremely rough first few weeks. Now baby and I happily nurse in public.
My sister wants very much to continue to nurse her 23-month-old, but she’s 8 months pregnant with twins and it’s giving her contractions. Now she’s worried that a C-section (babies are both breach!) will interfere with her milk supply. But I think all four of them will triumph. Because she’s a BF hero.
I promoted breastfeeding this week by inviting several pregnant friends to come to a local breastfeeding support group. I also breastfed my baby in two places that I hadn’t before; the library and a friend’s house.
I’m a new follower on GFC (sunnymum).
This picture is just so priceless. It made me tear up as I thought about my wonderful experience breastfeeding my daughter. That was 5 years ago. New visitor – wonderful blog!

I’m going to attend a breastfeeding class for my upcoming addition. I had no clue what I was doing the first time and had a lazy nurser and failed miserably. So I’m doing everything I can to make this go round a success!
